Tally Money is a digital currency backed by physical gold. Users can save, spend and send tally just like any other currency using the Tally Money app.

We worked with Tally Money for 9 months leading the rebuild of their React Native iOS and Android apps, focussing on security and performance:

• Built a secure authentication system using iOS keychain, Android keystore and biometrics
• Created a React Native bridge in Java and Objective-C to use the Help Scout Beacon chat SDK
• Setup dev, staging and prod environments to adequately test Codepush releases and third party services
• Built new app features including easy access savings, pay contacts and a gold devaluation graph
• Added codepush and fastlane scripts to distribute releases to AppCenter, Google Play and the App Store
• Setup linting, unit tests and Android builds with GitHub actions
• Communicated with RESTful API’s using Axios and managed data with Redux Toolkit
• Integrated several third party SDKs including Firebase, OneSignal, Reanimated and Camera
